Applications are invited for the following post:

  Demonstrator/Teaching Assistant in the Department of Computer Science
(Ref.: 201700780) (to commence from mid-August 2017 for one year, with
the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a good Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
related discipline, good written and spoken English, and good
communication skills. Those with relevant experience in conducting
tutorials are preferred. The appointee will assist individual course
teachers and the Head of Department in conducting tutorials, compiling
reading lists and documentary sources, developing and searching for new
teaching materials, evaluating coursework assignments, invigilation,
coordinating class activities, providing tutorial and academic support
to students outside classes, uploading and managing the web-based
elements of courses for the Department; and perform any additional
duties as assigned by the Head of Department. Those with less
qualification and/or experience may be considered for appointment as
Teaching Assistant.

  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and
experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical
benefits.
